How It Works

• 📅 Monthly Meetings – We meet once a month at Kanopi for an in-person discussion. Each meeting is limited to 20 participants to keep conversations engaging.

• 📚 Two Discussion Groups – To accommodate different reading preferences, we split into an English and a German discussion group.

• ⭐ Rating System – At the end of each meeting, we rate the book on a scale from 0 to 5 (in 0.5 steps) to see how it landed with the group.

• 🔄 Classic & Contemporary Rotation – This year, we alternate between a classic and a contemporary book each month.

• ☕ Book + Coffee – The book of the month can be ordered and purchased at Kanopi, and it comes with a coffee.

• 📱 WhatsApp Group – Anyone who attends a book club meeting is invited to join our WhatsApp group. This is where we continue discussions, vote on the next book and meeting date, and where the registration link for upcoming meetings is shared first.

•  📱 Kanopi Community Channel on WhatsApp and on Instagram - We’ll post all book club dates & sign-up links there. Plus updates and reminders about new events, outdoor meet-ups and community gatherings.
